The Los Angeles Screenplay Contest accepts entries via FilmFreeway and Withoutabox.

Multi-Genre Scripts

Each Script may be entered into one or multiple categories of the screenwriter’s choice. This is particularly helpful for multi-genre and crossover scripts to cover all possible categories. 

Professional Judges

All judges and script reviewers are working, professional screenplay readers or have some other specialized background in screenplay sales or critique.

How are your services priced?

We offer low submission prices in order to cover the costs of the contest and pay our judges.




What is our refund policy?

Once a screenplay is received electronically, it is immediately processed and your screenplay is submitted to our judges based on the categories you choose. We cannot offer any refund once a screenplay is has been judged.

Do entrants retain all rights to their screenplays?

The Los Angeles Screenplay Contest does NOT in any way own the rights to your submitted script. You always retain 100% of the rights to any screenplays entered.



Who are the judges for Screenplay Festival?

Judges for the Los Angeles Screenplay Contest are experienced and working professional script readers with experience evauluating scripts for studios, production companies and agencies. All judges participate purely on their own desire to help discover exceptional screenplay writing talent.
